After the exhilarating double feature last week, we’re back to a single serving this time around. While it’s disappointing to have only one episode to savour, this week’s offering still delivers. So, let’s dive right in!

Pabu remains a captivating locale, a breathtaking yet perilous paradise that always brings to mind Phee. The return of the “liberator of ancient wonders” redirects the Batch towards their next mission: tracking down Fennec Shand.

The narrative divides neatly after the initial act, with Wrecker and Hunter venturing off-world in pursuit of Fennec, while Omega and Crosshair stay behind on Pabu.

Their exchanges hit hard, offering glimpses of Crosshair’s path to healing. The final scene, featuring Omega, Crosshair, and the Batch, is a poignant moment hinting at a potential resolution for Crosshair’s internal struggle.

From beginning to end, this episode is a delight. It sets the stage for the anticipated Bounty Hunter thread teased in previous trailers. As the Batch delves deeper into understanding the enigmatic “M-Count,” they’ll have to navigate the treacherous waters of the criminal underworld, where familiar foes await…
