Pottermore Presents: Harry Potter eBooks

Coming off the success of Harry Potter and the Cursed Child, these eBooks will be available to fans at the beginning of September.

It is worth mentioning that the material for these books is taken from the ‘Pottermore Vaults’ and other writings from J.K. Rowling. These are not ”OMG NEW HARRY POTTER BOOKS!” as some on social media will have you believe.

So what are the books about?

Hogwarts: An Incomplete and Unreliable Guide

Ever wanted to know more about Hogwarts? This book will cover a range of Hogwarts history and what makes the place such a unique institution. Expect to learn more about the ghosts, defences, hidden chambers and residents of the school.

Short Stories from Hogwarts of Power, Political and Pesky Poltergeists

Get ready to learn more about the troubles inside the Ministry of Magic as well as history and greater exploration of Azkaban Prison. This book will also focus on Horace Slughorn and Dolores Umbridge. This book will definitely be one for the fans of Slitherine.

Short Stories from Hogwarts of Heroism, Hardship and Dangerous Hobbies

Fan favourites Minerva McGonagall and Remus Lupin will have new adventures in the third book. While no details have been released yet, it is likely to focus on McGonagall’S role in the Second Wizarding War. Fans will also get stories looking at Sybill Trelawney and Care of Magical Creatures teacher Silvanus Kettleburn.
