Its CGI might wobble occasionally, and its plot could be likened to a Saturday morning cartoon. But here’s the thing – that’s part of its charm! Embracing its absurdity, I found myself thoroughly entertained by this wild thrill ride. It’s a film that doesn’t take itself too seriously, and neither should you.

However, in this latest instalment, there’s a noticeable improvement. Returning actors like Rebecca Hall, Brian Tyree Henry, and Kaylee Hottle bring depth to their roles, while newcomer Dan Stevens steals the spotlight with his impeccable comedic timing as Trapper.
But let’s not forget why we’re all here – the monster battles. And boy, does Godzilla x Kong: The New Empire deliver. From jaw-dropping clashes between the titular titans to some of the most ludicrous and awe-inspiring moments ever seen on screen, the film knows how to satisfy its audience’s hunger for epic showdowns. These battles are strategically placed throughout the narrative, ensuring a well-paced and exhilarating experience from start to finish.
Ultimately, if you’re willing to suspend disbelief and embrace the madness, Godzilla x Kong: The New Empire delivers exactly what it promises – massive monster battles on an unprecedented scale.
